Shannon Moore joins Brandon/ COPsync, LLC as Chief Operations Officer and Chief Technical Officer

John Hobbs, CEO of Brandon COPsync LLC announced today that Shannon Moore has joined Brandon/ COPsync LLC as Chief Operations Officer and Chief Technical Officer.  Mr. Moore brings vast product knowledge as well as practical experience in designing and deploying electronic surveillance and security systems.  As a former member of the United States Army and a Military Police Officer, Shannon understands, firsthand, the technology needs and requirements of the of the defense and  public safety sectors. As a seasoned manager in systems integration he also recognizes the real world concerns of budgets and professional services.

Shannon has hands on experience in multiple disciplines of physical and electronic security systems and systems integration.  Some of these systems are electronic surveillance, video management systems, card and credential access control, RFID inventory and asset management, automated license plate recognition, electronic gunshot detection, mobile data computing and mobile evidence capture, database management, systems integration for aerial and ground vehicle based live video and data streaming.  Shannon has extensive experience with enterprise level projects, including-leading edge systems integration and technology solutions for law-enforcement agencies, the armed forces, and government agencies including U.S. Department of Homeland Security  and the Department of Defense. Shannon has successfully implemented projects in the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office, Seattle Police Development, Richmond Police Department, the City of Lynnwood, California and the Southgate Police Department in California. Additionally, Shannon has designed, deployed,and managed solution installations and system integration for airports, cities, tribal gaming authorities and international corporations.

“When I made the decision to pursue a career in electronic surveillance and security for the defense and public safety industries,” stated Moore “I recognized that I would need to understand how the systems worked technologically and how the customers would benefit.”

Shannon is an honorably discharged veteran of the US Army having served in law enforcement and intelligence.  His specialized training includes investigations and interrogation as well as fatality reconstruction and foreign languages. Shannon personal interests include mediation (alternate dispute resolution) and acting as a volunteer for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate).
