Brandon Associates is pleased to confirm the signing of Airmar Technology Corporation as a new client. Airmar Technology joins the firm’s long list of technology clients. Airmar’s WeatherStation is a strong addition to the technology providers represented by the Brandon Associates’ team.

The application will be a vital asset for use in the field and in the protection of critical infrastructure. The WeatherStation allows the end user to monitor, view and predict wind speed and direction as well as various other weather related patterns such as barometric pressure, relative humidity and air temperature. Also included in the compact housing are a GPS antenna, heading sensor and accelerometer. This allows the sensor to calculate and output true wind speed and direction while additionally providing SOG, COG, position, heading and pitch and roll data. The application may be used by first responders in emergency situations including evacuations of populated areas due to risks associated with hazardous materials.
